Made the ferry crossing at 7am, it took about 2 1/2 hrs and was a smooth voyage. We have now been on the Atlantic. Had breakfast and took off to visit Kitty Hawk. By the time we got there there was smoke everywhere from a big fire on the main land.
Went thru the museum, once again I am blown away by their engineering skills and that they made their own wind tunnel.
By the end of the day I have returned home. No tent tonight. But I also found my landlord has still not installed the air conditioning promised "before summer". 96 deg inside the house.
